Privacy Policy

MARC is committed to protecting our clients privacy. Any personal information provided for learning purposes will be stored securely and used only as specified by each person. For past participants we will seek permission to stay in touch with updates and new information.

Our policy supports the privacy principles as specified in the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988. These relate to how information is collected and stored, and how it is used.

Data Collection

We collect personal information in order to provide services to clients including learning programs. We may also use this to distribute information about leadership updates, alumni events and MARC membership that the MARC Board believes may interest you.

An email contact is mandatory and additional details are also required to maintain currency. Non personal information is collected to allow MARC to collect statistics related to Vocational Education and Training which are reported to the Australian National Training Authority and state training authorities.

Data Disclosure

Any personal information collected will be used only for the purposes specified above.

The administrative staff of MARC manage the database of participant details. This allows them to produce statistical reports and maintain data currency.

Each consultant has access to the personal details of participants of their program in order to deliver the training.

We will not disclose personal information or email addresses to third parties unless permitted or required by law.

Security

Personal information is stored in a secure database and paper records are kept in lockable filing cabinets in the MARC premises.
